Simon graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts for Film & TV and currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
Bad Turn Worse is his first feature film. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and won the Audience Award at AFI Fest. It's been called "a special piece of filmmaking" by Renegade Cinema, "criminally good" by Hitfix, "a terrific film" by Indiewire, and "one of my favorite movies of the year" by Ain't it Cool News. Bad Turn Worse was released theatrically by Starz and is currently available on Amazon Prime and iTunes. Recently, XYZ Films announced that they will be re-releasing Bad Turn Worse under its original film festival title, We Gotta Get Out of This Place.
Simon has also directed and edited award-winning branded and commercial content for an array of companies such as Google, Pepsi, Pique Action, Rhone Apparel, and Starbucks. Simon launched his independent production company, Hi Duck Productions, in 2024.
